100,000 VIEWED HUBPAGES

All glory to the Lord God for directing my way to Hub Pages to reach out to the world without the right direction, I am unable to reach the goal. I started writing for Hub Pages on May 9. 2008. My brother Paul came from Houston to Toronto to visit my sister who was suffering from ovarian cancer. He was very excited about Hub Pages and tried to interest me in it, but I hesitated at first. For three days I prayed to God to ask Him whether it was His will that I should write. After three days, I was committed to the task.

From young I was very intrigued with the prophecy of Isaiah 4:1 which prophesied that Seven Women would take Hold of One Man. Seven Women (all churches) would use One Man (Jesus) and call themselves Christians, They are not real Christians, but pseudo Christians (in name only). I decided to write my first hub based on Isaiah Chapter 4:1. In exactly the first month, I wrote nine hubs or articles and Google classified the hubs in 7 FIRST PAGE RANK. Why is it so important to have Google First Page Rank? Out of all articles collected by Google, only 10 articles appear on the First Page. This is why all writers try hard to achieve First Page Rank.

Out of 65,900,000 articles on disasters, my article on Three Different Disasters was chosen to be on page 1. Only 10 articles are listed on page 1. How did I achieve this? I did not do this myself, but God allowed me to have this distinction. By this, I know that God wanted me to write for His chosen people.  Thank God for choosing me to run in this particular race and to achieve First Page Rank, that is, 10 out of 65,900,000.  This is mind boggling to me who did not dare to dream of such honour.  God had a purpose in mind.

You can see the importance of Israel today with all 6 hubs written in HubPages and they are all featured in Google First Page Rank. God's words do not change with time, but lasts for forever. God choose Abraham above all the people in the world and bless him for his faith in Him. The Lord God also bless those who have faith in Him. Thus, the blessings of the Christians are dependant upon the roots of the Jews (Romans 11:16-21). Gentile Christians are only grafted trees, but the chosen Jews are the original ones.

You have made it possible for me to reach out to the wide world with my published hubs. Many hubbers are very thankful that they are able to write their thoughts and also earn money at the same time. I have not opted to earn money, but to spread the gospel of great tidings and truth. To correct some of the misconceptions that Christians have regarding the Bible, especially the Sabbath Day and worship of pagan festivals like Christmas, Easter and Valentine's Day, etc.

I like the idea of what HubPages does and that is to have a comprehensive well thought out plan for the hubbers to follow the progress of their work. Hubbers can also edit their previous work and update them. This is very important because hubbers want to be up to date in their approach. Readers who are not hubbers can also comment on the hubs. Hubs are not limited to the hubbers only, and anyone can participate in their comments.

In my two years, I have been penalized once for being over promotional in my writing. In every organization, there are rules and regulations to follow to see that they do not go overboard. I was not aware of my mistake and was completely distraught and did not know what to do. I tried changing the introduction and the closing remark, but only caught on the mistake eventually and erased it. However, I feel that since I corrected the mistake, HubPages would stop printing about overpromotion. The hub had an original score of 75 when first published, but plummetted to 34. Hubpages can forgive me for the mistake. Unfortunately, the reminder of the error still remains, and I must bear with it. Only God forgives men for their sins, but organizations do not. We have to live with man made rules whether we like it or not.

TWITTER - Joined May 20, 2009

Twitter is affliated with HubPages. It helps increase traffic to HubPages. In 10 months I have 1517 followers. Twitter even introduced me to Sarah Palin, the Vice Presidential Nominee for the Republicans, and she graciously responded. I did an article on abortion. This shows that Twitter is aware of what you write and looks at what you wrote in order to introduce you to people with common interest. I also received a second letter from Twitter advising me of how to maximize the number of my followers. I thank Twitter for the help given me.

It is an excellent way to increase traffic and Facebook is also affiliated with HubPages. You can easily share good videos with others. To date, I have 767 friends. However, both Twitter and Facebook do not have what HubPages does have, and that is a record of one's progress day by day. Both are complements of HubPages for they supply what the others lack.

One can be a good writer, but without fans supporting and reading your hubs, one will be in the dumps or doldrums. No man is an island! One needs support from family, church, friends, fans etc. Though my fans are not that many, I probably have many uncommitted fans who do read my hubs. Through joining HubPages, I have expanded my horizon and increased my all round knowledge quite a bit for there are many experts in many wide range of fields in religion, arts, science, technology, history etc. I even increase my own knowledge when I research articles for my hubs.

I have not acknowledged any names in this hub as I did earlier because there are too many to mention and I do not wish to forget any one. I also thank those who write about helpful subjects. HubPages is like a big family and likes to help the new converts. Hubbers need fans in order to survive and thrive. There are experts in various fields. You name them and they are there. Thanks fellow hubbers. Some of the fans poured out all their griefs, joys, humiliation, ecstasy, family problems, love, health, fitness, beauty, sports, travels, and pets, etc. in their hubs. There is always something to suit everybody. You write your hubs and hopefully, your fans and other non fans also respond to your hubs. It is satisfying to receive response from all walks of life.

I am very pleased that the Lord God led me into HubPages for I have learnt a lot from writing and from other hubbers as well. Some of the viewers have changed their own views on some key issues, especially on Sabbath keeping and celebrating of festivals of pagan origins. God had opened their hearts and not because of my writing. It is not my opinion that matters, but the words of God from the Bible that led to the change of hearts and minds. .
