THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD
The Almighty Lord God of heaven and earth is a Spiritual Being and Father of all spirits. He manifests Himself as the Holy Spirit which is His power to perform miracles on earth and Jesus Christ, His Son who was born of the Holy Spirit on earth to redeem us from sins thus bringing mankind back to the grace of God.
Adam and Eve sinned against the Lord God and were banished from the garden of Eden and "a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the tree of life" (Gen 3:24).
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" (Rom 5:12).
God wanted to change the situation where man was disengaged from God and He decided to put His Holy Spirit into man's heart so that he might change to a new man capable of loving and obeying the Lord God.
"And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them" (Eze 36:27).
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE ONE TRUE GOD
The Holy Spirit is God's wonderful manifestation of His tremendous power to create, protect, judge, guiide, change, and foresee the beginning and ending of all matters under the sun.
God had promised to give His chosen people a new heart, a heart of flesh which He would put into their hearts and be with them always. The Holy Spirit will teach and guide them into the way of righteousness, avoiding evil and strengthening their spirituality. The force of the Holy Spirit is so strong because it is the Spirit of God that will fight on our behalf in our battles against the evil one.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
- And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them (Eze 36:26-27).
- God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (Jn 4:24).
- And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all (1 Cor.12:6; Php 2:13).
- And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us (1 Jn 3:24).
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS JESUS CHRIST
"And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father" (Gal 4:6).
- Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Cor 3:17).
- Paul and Silas were forbidden to preach "the word in Asia (6). After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not (Acts 16:7).
- Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot (Ac 8:29).
- But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his (Rom 8:9).
The Spirit of God and the Spirit of Jesus Christ are the same. The Holy Spirit is God, and is also Jesus Christ. There is no distinction between them for they are the same Spirit. Praise the Lord.

THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST ARE THE SAME
God's manifestations of the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of Christ (Jesus) are the one and same Spirit of God. In the Old Testament, the works of the Holy Spirit were creation of the universe, giving of the 10 commandments, blessings, judgment, guidance, punishment and prophecy among other wondrous works. The works of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament were bringing the people back to God by giving them the Holy Spirit to dwell in their hearts teaching them obedience and reliance in God through forgiveness of sins, casting out evil spirits performing miracles of wondrous nature as walking on water, feeding of five thousand on two loaves of bread and five fishes, raising Lazarus from the dead, and healing different diseases. Only God can perform such marvellous and outstanding performance. Glory to the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of Christ!

Einron,
This is beautiful! The illustrations are beautiful as well!
Yes The Holy Spirit is One! The indwelling presence of God's Holy Spirit is a Wonderful gift! His Comforter is our internal Helper, Companion and Comforter! Praise God!
Blessings!
Yes, it would have been easier not to use the word "trinity", but due to confusion of people who have created three beings instead of one, it's become a confusing explanation. When Jesus was baptized, he was the Son of Man, yet fully God. When the Spirit descended upon Him from heaven, the Spirit also indwelt Him prior to this (for He was conceived by the Spirit). The Father spoke, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased", yet the Father is the Holy Spirit in Him and descending upon Him. This shows all of God, the Godhead all active at one time. Explaining that these are not three different persons of God is difficult to the unbeliever. Only God can reveal Himself to us, and He has. God is ONE God. Amen.
Its all a play with words. The Father talks about his only begotten, and in whom God is pleased. The Son Jesus Christ says if you have seen him you have seen the Father, the Father and I are one. He Jesus will send us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to live in the believer, the new Temple our bodies. The Three are one each with an office for perfecting Gods salvation. If God never died as a man, then there would be no salvation, so one part of God had to become man and a man also, to represent and be the mediator for man.For God to be able to live in man Jesus would have to send himself back as the Holy Spirit which is also the Spirit of God.
God said in Genesis "Let "us" make man in "our" image and likeness.God is three,Father, Word and Holy Spirit, as one God hence why man is three. Spirit Soul and Body as one Man.
Blessings
To take the three manifestations of God and make them into two is to cause confusion to the unbeliever and to the reader of the Bible, in my opionion. Neither Jesus as the Son, nor the Dove as the Spirit spoke the words of the Father when Jesus was baptized. How do you explain that one?
You've already stated correctly that the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ are the same, and that God is Spirit. This proves the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are the self-same God.
Three "names" are used in the Bible: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, so the "trinity" (three are one God) is not a false teaching, but helps to clarify this ONE God to the reader. It is the same word "One" as is used when the husband and wife are "no longer two, but one flesh" in the eyes of God (merged into One upon union).
Take the word "trinity" out; it doesn't matter to me. Did you ever expose the meanings of the word God in the Old Testament and Jesus in the New Testament?
Regarding the Old Testament, the Hebrew word for God is elohiym (el-o-heem’); plural of elowahh or eloahh; gods in the ordinary sense; but spec. used (in the plural, thus especially with the article “the”) of the supreme God. So The Hebrew word elowahh or eloahh (el=o’-ah) is: the Diety:-God. The word elohiym is used most throughout the Old Testament, even in Exodus 20:2: “I am the LORD (Yehovah) your God (elohiym). In other words, Yehovah your elohiym ~ part of the first commandment.
Regarding the New Testament, did you ever look up the Greek word for Jesus? The name JESUS is Iesous (ee-ay-sooce') meaning Jehoshua, the name of our Lord and two (three); same as Hebrew Yehowshuwa meaning Yehovah saved. Jesus was also named Immanuel (God with Us).
The name of our "Lord and two (three)?" Why did't it say the name of our "Lord and one (two)"?
It's a shame that Christians are divided over this concept and how to witness it to the unbeliever. Anyone who has separated the Godhead into three separate beings is in error. The trinity, according to the Catholic church and Protestant churches is taught in the correct way.
I also agree that the Godhead is three in one. He is not three "persons", though the old hymn states as such "God in three persons; blessed trinity". True Christians know that God is Spirit, is the Holy Spirit and Jesus is the image of the invisible God. It is the Spirit of God, which is also the Spirit of Christ that now dwells in us and works through us. In the Old Testament, God "manifested" Himself in clouds and fire. In the New Testament, God "manifested" Himself in the person of Jesus Christ and also in the form of a dove. As I said, we can take the word "trinity" out, but explain it as clearly as possible to the unbeliever who seeks to understand this concept.
Trinity means "three in unity". Even you said "The godhead consists of three, God, Holy Spirit and Jesus." If you think the word "trinity" is an evil root, that is your opinion, but doesn't mean it's sinful. Likewise, the word "rapture" is not in the Bible, but "caught up in the air" is. This is what "rapture" means. Anyhow, your hub is truth, that the Spirit of God and Spirit of Christ is God and the same. God bless you ~~

I agree with you 100%. Jesus said "You have eyes but cannot see". It is the Holy Spirit that reveals Christ to you day by day, and gives you the Fruit of the Spirit, and also the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, which is the Fire. Jesus died on the cross inplace of us. Not only did he set us free but gave us his Spirit to be him on earth.
Bless u
You can believe what you want but the Holy Spirit - Ruach HaKodesh is the Third person of the Elohim Godhead. Surely the Holy Spirit was the Spirit and Mother of Jesus Christ who conceived Jesus Christ in Mary's womb, Matthew 1:20. Of all people to believe surely you would believe Jesus Christ who spoke in the Hebrew Aramaic tongue in John 3:3-8! It is right here that he calls Ruach HaKodesh - Spirit Mother. it seems that you seem to be a believer in only one God. This sounds like you follow Dr. Arius', Unitarian way, who taught that God the Father created Jesus and the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ. Very strange indeed, even Martin Luther believed in the Holy Spirit as Mother also the Old Catholic Church taught the same fact. Just like Jesus the Holy Spirit is the Same yesterday ( Genesis 1:2 As Mother Ruach Ha Kodesh, hovering over Her empty nest then), today ( about to give birth to the first harvest of sons and daughters, Isaiah 66:7-13, Leviticus 23:24, Revlation 22:17.), And forever, (Leviticus 23:36, the last harvest of eagles, Isaiah 40:31), Heb 13:8. John 1:1-5 shows that Jesus was with the Father from the beginning Genesis 1:1,26. Jesus was also with Ruach Ha Kodesh in the beginning, Genesis 1:2, 26; Job 33:4. Jesus said "He is the way,the ruth, and the life: no man comes to the Father but by me, John 14:6. You can have Ruach HaKodesh - Mother, who will teach you all things,John 16:16. This is true because Jesus said so. Amen!

I once belonged to a Church that taught only two Gods, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit was the power of them both. No you are very wrong. The Apostle Paul wrote one whole Chapter devoted to Ruach HaKodesh in Romans 8, describing Her Motherly Power. Also in the Hebrew Peshitta this verse
"16" reads "She the Spirit bears witness with our spirit, that we are the chldren of God." All three members are mentioned here in chapter 8 by the Apostle Paul. If you do not believe me than believe Jesus Christ or the Apostle Paul.
Hmm, Hebrews 7:3 and 1-4. These verses are speaking of Melchisedec King of Salam, who some consider to be Jesus Christ, however Jesus was the Word of God in Genesis 1:26 who spoke with both the Father - Yahovah and Ruach HaKodesh here - "Let us" make human kind in our image, plural. Jesus Christ was not a created being and has always existed with them, John 3:1-5.
Besides "if" God is only one person (Strong concordance #433 Hebrew -elowahh, singular, then why did Moses write 'elohiym' or elohim #430 which is plural for God?
And "if" God is only one being singular are you telling me that God is here both male and female? This would be contrary to the plural word elohiym for family, one Father male and One Mother - female and one the Word, who would become the first son of the Father and plus many more to come, Hebrews 2:6-16. In which this word elohim can mean both male and female Gods.
God the Father, Yahovah is the originator of Family,Genesis 1:1. Ruach HaKodesh is the one who borns us, Gen 1:2. God is here explaining to us through Moses, God's greatest creation "Family" of humans who will become the sons and daughters of both God the Father and Ruach, 2 Corinthians 6:16-18. Here Jesus the Word who became the Father's "Seed"( changed himself to sperm and was still alive and was transferred over to Mary's womb by the Holy Spirit), and became the first born Son of the Father. Begotten of the Father, Conceived of the Spirit in Mary's womb for their Godly purpose. Jesus did not have two Fathers. But had one Father and one Mother.Yes, Jesus describes the Spiritual need to be born of Ruach HaKodesh to Nicodemus. Nicodemus only knew of the physical, now he had a first hand account from Jesus Christ. We should all shout for joy at this wonderful miracle done for us.
If you do not believe Jesus, Paul, or Moses nor me than try the Apostle Peter in Acts 5:3-4. Here Peter calls the Holy Spirit God.
"If," you believe the Bibe then believe Jesus Christ and what he said to Nicodemus in John 3:3-8 - Be born of Ruach HaKodesh the Holy Spirit.
And yes, Mary was Jesus' surrogate physical mother but Ruach Hakodesh is his Spiritual Mother because Jesus tell us so. And so did the angel in Matthew 1:20 and begotten of the Father, John 3:16. And technically women since Genesis 4:1; Genensis 1:28 have been able helpers for the Holy Spirit, to born physical children to become future children of God, born of the Spirit, John 3:6-8. This is part of God's plan for our salvation.
Though the word trinity is not in the Bible Jesus gave us Five - 5 very plain sequences of areas of Scripture which show three members of Triune Godhead. Count them for yourself and you will see that there are two others besides Jesus - Matthew 28:19,John 3:3-8,16-17; John 14:2-31, John 15:1, 7-10,23-26, John 16:3,7-13-16.
The Word Trinity was coined by the Theologian Tertulian in the 2nd century. More than likely he counted how many were shown in these scriptures. Also, Ellen G. White the founder of the Seventh Day Adventist did the same. She looked at what Jesus said in the above scriptures and came to the same conclusion that there are three different Gods. Amen.

This is awesome, once again proving the "Trinity" ~ not three separate, but ONE GOD, so beautifully. The evidence of the indwelling Spirit of God are the fruits and the gifts. By this we see the workings of the Lord through us daily. He loves us so much. Wonderful hub!
